Taylor Named Senior Vice President at Tredegar

RICHMOND, Va., Sep 13, 2004 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Tredegar Corporation (NYSE: TG) announced that Nancy M. Taylor has been named senior vice president of strategy and special projects effective November 1, 2004. This newly created position will report to the chief executive officer, Norman A. Scher.

Ms. Taylor joined Tredegar in 1991 as assistant general counsel and was named corporate counsel and secretary in 1994. In 1997, she was named general counsel and elected vice president in 1998. In 2001, she was named vice president, administration and corporate development. She is currently managing director, Europe, for Tredegar Film Products Corporation, a subsidiary of Tredegar, a position she has held since 2003. Prior to joining Tredegar, she was an associate at the law firm of Hunton & Williams. Ms. Taylor received a B.A. degree from College of the Holy Cross in 1981 and a law degree from Catholic University of America in 1984.

Based in Richmond, Va., Tredegar Corporation is a global manufacturer of plastic films and aluminum extrusions. Tredegar is also developing and marketing bone graft substitutes through its Therics subsidiary.
